Adirondack Stained Glass Works was founded in 1982 by Don Dwyer, a self taught stained glass artist. Since that time the business has flourished with the addition of two partners. Brenda Crannell Dwyer became a partner in 1983 and Patrick Duell became a partner on 1986. Altogether the three owners have over 60 years of experience in the stained glass field.

Adirondack Stained Glass Works has created 1000’s of pieces of fine quality stained glass art, ranging from extraordinary Tiffany reproductions to complete entranceways for home or office. Solid mahogany doors, transoms and sidelights with your choice of contemporary, Adirondack, Art Nouveau. Art Deco or totally custom glass inserts. 

 

We also have created our own line of Adirondack Mountain products including large hanging lamps, wall mirrors, sconces, pendant lighting, lanterns, small table lamps and large table lamps. This line depicts the beauty and majesty of the Adirondack Mountains in products ranging from lamps, windows to desk accessories and candle holders. Each piece in this line is distinguished by the addition of a hand crafted tree overlaid on the mountain scene. Each tree is made by hand so no two will be exactly alike. The panoramas are executed in colors to indicate the season.

 

Our Mission Line is also another very popular niche for us – all lamps are of original design. Small and large table lamps, wall mirrors, pendant lights, hanging lamps and windows are available with a mission flair.
We were the suppliers of lamps to the Stickley furniture company for over a decade. We carry a full spectrum of mission style lamps and wall sconces that will complement your arts and crafts décor. These lamps are generally in the beige and gold colors with highlights of other colors creating a warm soft light..
